Awana Clubs

What is Awana?

Awana provides an opportunity for children to know, love, and serve Jesus. Growing in knowledge, service and love for Jesus is called discipleship. Discipleship begins with belief and acceptance of Jesus, and is a journey that we want to see continue into adulthood for the kids that we serve. Awana is a partnership between church and home–between the volunteers who teach on Sundays and parents.

The Mission

The mission of Awana is to equip leaders to reach kids with the Gospel and to engage them in lifelong discipleship.

The Vision

The vision and prayer of Awana is that all children and youth throughout the world will come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

Bethel Baptist Church and Community Baptist Church are partnering together for AWANA

We are looking forward to serving our children and families as one ministry team. We believe this partnership will create new opportunities for fellowship, discipleship, and fun as we work together to help children know, love, and serve Christ.

While some things will look a little different, our mission remains the same: helping children know, love, and serve Jesus while hiding God's Word in their hearts.

AWANA Theme: Campfire Night

Regular Schedule for Awana

Check-In Time 3:50-4:15pm at the Family Life Center Entrance

Flag Ceremony 4:15-4:25pm, then clubbers are dismissed with their groups for book time, Lesson and Game Time.

Dismissal at 6:00pm All children will be dismissed from the Gym and parents should go to the Family Life Center entrance (same area as check-In).

All Clubbers except Puggles will get Awana bucks at check-in, ways to earn those bucks are to wear their club uniform, bring their book and bag, wear tennis shoes and being on time.
